Since 1995, every 5 years, New Balance have issued the 1300 in its original form under the name M1300JP, exclusively in Japan. But in 2010, for the shoes 25th anniversary, NB decided to distribute outside of Japan, and have thus continued this with the M1300JP2 as we would have all hoped.
New Balance have again brought in the new year with the making of a brilliant shoe, this time in the form of the USA made 1300.
