Kicks: Foot Patrol x Saucony Shadow 6000 - Only In Soho

Foot Patrol have recently been teasing us with a string of teaser images and videos for the announcement of their collaboration with Saucony. But yesterday full images came of the shoe, and a release date, so the teasing is finally over.

The silhouette is the iconic Saucony Shadow 6000, which Foot Patrol have took and added their own colour-way too it. The colour-way is more interesting than I expected, a lot of the time Saucony collaborations fall short of the mark and simply look like an in-house design, but not this one.

The colour-way itself features Black and Bright and Royal Blue with Red accents. Initially I figured the "Only in Soho' was just a name and didn't really relate to anything, but on further reading it's that idea which is seen running right through the shoes. The Bright and Royal blue seen running from the toe-box and around the mud-guard area represents the bright neon lights of signs etc in a soho street. The Red 3M panelling featured in the centre of the branding is also a nod to the 'other' types of lights you might see in shop windows around Soho, if you know what I mean. Even the black represents the 'unseen' sides of Soho, as they say 'the seedy underbelly', they've even go so far to relate the speckled sole to the grimy, dirty streets. The iconic Saucony Wings and Footpatrol Gasmask are mashed up to form one joint logo on the tongue.

This kick will be available in the London store and online from 3 May, stay tuned for more information on price etc coming next week. Remember to be quick on 3 May cause these are getting some love on the internet, expect them to fly out. (Get it? Saucony wings, fly, funny.)
