Kicks: Asics Gel Lyte V - White/Purple/Green

You might remember seeing these kicks earlier in the year (have a look at our previous post from back in JANUARY) and wondered exactly when they were going to drop. We still don't know that. But at least we've got some new images, courtesy of Sneaker Freaker (as you can tell!). 

Many people believe the Asics range stops at the Gel Lyte III, and they'd be wrong. Many people believe the Asics range wanders from the Gel Lyte III into the Gel Saga, and stops there, they would also be wrong. The Asics vault contains many-many untouched pieces of art, such as these Gel Lyte V's. 

You might look at the image and wonder where the split tongue has got too. But now, Asics have repleaced the split-tongue with a much more up-to-date single piece stretch boot (like seen on the Huarache and Free Run Nike models). 

Be expecting Asics to be rolling out this model in the very near future, should be an exciting release (I know I can't wait to get my hands on them).
