Kicks: Hypebeast x Puma Glory Blaze - The Dim Sum Project

Recently Hypebeast have collaborated with Puma for this iteration of the Glory Blaze, which is interestingly named "The Dim Sum Project". Personally I don't really understand the name, they try to explain it but I don't think they even know.

There are 2 colour-ways, a bright plain Yellow, and a White with Red accents. Firstly we'll have a chat about the Yellow number, which is apparently based on 'Siu Mai', Hypebeast said:
"Siu Mai is an open-topped steamed pork dumplings made with a yellow-hued wrap that often goes hand in hand with Har Gow in a traditional meal of Dim Sum."
So I suppose that makes slight sense why it's Yellow, but not really. Next there is the White and Red edition, this one is apparently based on "Har Gao", and again Hypebeast said:
"Har Gao, a sheer-skinned shrimp dumpling is known for being one of the most difficult of dumplings to make."
The Puma Glory Blaze was a classic running shoe back in the 90's, but Puma have brought it back into the modern day for this collaboration. They've tried to keep the classic style very similar, but have added a few modern extras making it more light-weight and flexible than it's 90's predecessor.

Get over to Hypebeast today to get your hands on either one of the colour-ways, or infact get them both in as part of 'The Dim Sum Project Pack'. Also have a closer look at both of the colour-ways below.
