There has been so much talk and anticipation surrounding the release of the latest Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III, this being the 'Flamingo'. Finally we can put a date to the shoe1

We've all seen the colour-way by now, but finally we can get a good proper look at the kick, on foot and up-close. It's a fairly pastel affair, it has to be said, with a Powder Grey covering the majority of the upper, the main talking points come in the form of the Pastel Flamingo Pink to the branding and the Pastel Blue to the eyelets, lining and the majority of the outsole. It's a fantastic mix of soft colours which work perfectly together. I believe this should of been a pre-summer release however, but Ronnie must have a reason in his mind to hang onto this one so late.

So moving on, information time. We've finally got a release date to let you know about! And the special date is August 2nd, so get that in your calendar and DO NOT miss it! It's also going to be the last Gel Lyte III you'll see coming from Ronnie's mind for a while, so yet another reason not to miss this!  In the mean time have a gander below at the most recent press shots of the kick.
