Kicks: Hanon x Onitsuka Tiger Colorade 85 - Northern Liites

It's been a while since we saw a decent Onitsuka Tiger collaboration, but now we've got this rather special one, courtesy of Scotland's premier sneaker store 'Hanon', who have previously brought us releases like the Saucony Shadow Master, Saucony Midnight Runner along with an Asics Gel Lyte III and many more.

The silhouette has always been a strong one, but Hanon have really brought it to life with this colour-way. The Grey base is served up with a pop of Purple to the complete area of the mid-foot, including tongue, eyelets and laces. With it's inspiration stemming from the Aurora Borealis. All of this Winter Lights theme is topped off with a Satin Red collar and lining and sits upon an EVA sole unit.

 It's both a combination of colours and selective pattern which hasn't been featured a lot recently. It's nice to see a step away from the typical two colour front and back designs, into the world of a whole new section of collaborations.

The ‘Northern Liites’ will obviously be exclusive to Hanon (at least for a little while) and will be released there on August 31, following this the release will then be spread world wide on September 7. Get out there and get yourself a pair, I know I will.
