This is restorations number 2 of the week, a Air Jordan 4 that is in desperate need of a good restoration!
The restoration in question is for a mid-sole repaint and de-creasing of the toe box. I don't always like completing a restoration without a slight clean of the upper and laces, so I threw a free small clean in too for good measure. Have a look below at what the shoes looked like on arrival.
As you can see, they were looking pretty beat, with the client freely admitting that these were his beaters. The mid-sole repaint was most definitely THE hardest re-paint I'd ever completed. The dreaded washing machine had well and truly gone to work on the sole unit. Because of this, the finish of the paint job wasn't 100% what I was looking for, a little bumpy due to the damage to the sole unit. Have a look at the finished product below.
I'm overall pretty happy with the outcome of this kick, other than the damaged mid-sole, which unfortunately couldn't be helped. This was the first de-crease job I'd took on, and I think it went pretty well, as you can see the toe box is looking 100% better than when they recieved at Men's Restorations HQ.
