It wasn't long since the Flyknit Lunar 1 was released by Nike, but they've today announced the second iteration of the much loved silhouette. Featuring improved comfort and stylings.
The upper has been re-worked and improved to give better comfort and support, as well as more opportunities for colour variations, with the two defined sections. The model still obviously boasts the Lunarlon sole at its core, but this has also been reworked, with the addition of an almost swirling design to the mid-sole section.
Two initial colour-ways have been revealed, and I must say, they're both not for the faint hearted. The first features Lime Green to the front half of the shoe, laces, tongue and half of the sole unit, with a Blue merging in around the mid-foot section and wrapping around the heel of the kick. The second goes even more brash, with Orange to the front and Purple coming in behind it; well and truly eye-wateringly bright. A noticeable change is the location of the Swoosh branding, this has been dropped back to the heel area of the kick, to allow for (what looks like) more robust Flywire to be added to the mid-foot section.
Let me know what you guys think of this new shape, as well as the colour-ways in question, this one could well and truly split the audience. No word on release date as of yet, but we do know that they'll be both available in Men's and Women's sizings as well as available for the iD treatment. Check out the second colour-way below.
