MN Best Kicks of 2013 Winners

Here in 2013 we started our first ever MN Best Kicks of, this was an awards style poll which was split into 6 categories; Best Overall, Best Nike, Best Collaboration, Best Adidas, Best New Balance and Best Air Jordan. Today we share with you, our winners.

Best Air Jordan
The winner of best Air Jordan really was one that surprised me, and in-fact it was two run-away winners, with the exact same amount of votes, both the  Air Jordan X - Doernbecher and the Air Jordan III - Doernbecher take home the title of 2013's best Air Jordan.
Best New Balance
Once again you couldn't decide on an outright winner, and once again it was the tale of two kicks. With the New Balance 1600 – Mugshot and the New Balance 999 – Propaganda taking the victory.
Best Adidas
When it came to Adidas, I really didn't know what to expect, but I really do believe that the correct kick won this one, it also signifies a lot more to come from Adidas in 2014. The winner is the ZX5000 RSPN 80/90/00 - Highless Red.
Best Collaboration
Personally this was the most exciting category of the year, with a ridiculously good collaboration being released almost every week, so it was also a fiercely contested category with some of the best shoes of the year being included. But really, there was only ever going to be one winner, the Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 – Tassie Devil takes it via a landslide victory. 
Best Nike
We really are getting to the deep end of the awards here, and this time it's Nike and most definitely the most successful sneaker brand of the year and probably the decade. Once again, two of the nominations are tied in 1st place, the Nike Free Huarache Light - Ultramarine and the Nike Air Max Terra 180 - Oreo. 
Best Overall
Finally we have the biggy, the best overall kick of the year. This of course was the most anticipated and the most voted for, so it's definitely very interesting to see what won. So here it is.. The best kick of 2013 as voted by the viewers of Men's Needs Blog is the Nike Air Huarache OG - White/Pink.
