As we saw last year, Mastermind were allowed to go nuts on the Gazelle, Rivalry High, ZX500 OG, Superstar 80s and the Pro Model. They've now done the same with the Stan Smith. They've kept their iconic skull and cross bones branding to the tongue and overall giving us some beautifully executed trainers.
When Mastermind were first revealed as one of the brands to be let loose on the Stan Smiths, I pretty much knew what we would be getting from them, standard Black/White. However, there is actually more detail and overall class being seen from them this time.
The upper features premium textured Black leather side panels, which slide back and wrap around the heel. The toe-box and tongue both feature a plainer smooth black leather. All pulled together with a white midsole complete with black stitching on the front third. With the Mastermind branding coming in the form of a tongue label and heel branding.
Overall I think Mastermind have pulled it out the bag again. These should be hitting retailers such as Hanon, END and Sneakers n Stuff on 22/2/14, get your wallets ready.
