Upcoming: Asics Gel Kayano - Summer 2014

Asics has been dominating the sneaker scene recently, with massive help from highly sought after collaborations, Thus making Asics an even more present force within the Sneaker community this past year or so.

First looks of the Summer release of the Asics Gel Kayanos (which were almost forgotten about untill their comeback late last year), look to be special, with this year being packed with collaborations and limited releases, Asics may have just given those missing out on the limited releases a chance to pick up something special, without any labels or gimmicks.

With the make up pictured above, we have a very familiar colour blocking as seen on the Huarache Light Ultra Marines, with the mesh of the front, sides, tongue and rubber Asics branding being Black, along side a Royal Blue toe box and heel wrap. All of which sitting on top a White midsole, with Light Blue and Red accents. As you can imagine, this shoe is set to be a people pleaser, but may confuse many Nike Huarache Light fans.

With the colour way pictured below we have the usual mesh and suede make up, as seen with the previous pair, this model also takes inspiration from a previous Gel Lyte III , with a White mesh  on the forefront of the shoe, continuing to the side panels, which is then over-layered with the usual rubber Asics branding in Black, with a Neon backing running onto a Black suede heel wrap, with Grey Asics embroided branding. The shoe sits on top of a White midsole with Grey and Black hits, with no fancy speckling, which keeps this make up very simple, and versatile.

As of now, both models are only available at ATMOS, but are sure to be hitting the UK very soon, and will be priced around the £
120 mark.
