Release Info: Ronnie Fieg x adidas Originals - EQT Support '93

It's very nice to see Ronnie being able to take a step away from ASICS and wandering straight into the design room of a legendary sports wear brand - adidas. This is a big step for the designer, and one which I am far too happy about.

adidas Originals have had a huge year with release such as the ZX Flux and re-issues of many EQT and ZX classics from their vast archive. But Ronnie has called on one of the most popular silhouettes of the year, which is the EQT Support '93. He's brought his signature styling along for the ride too, with bright metallic gold to the toe end, with deep hues of Blue bringing up the rear, finished off with a fantastic pop of light blue to the famous 3 stripes. 

You might be thinking, nice colour-way, but very random? No, that's definitely not the case. The gold is representing the NYPD badge the blues representing the NYPD uniforms. The whole shoe revolves around the New York Police Department and their efforts during the 2001 World Trade Centre attacks.

The shoe will be released come October 11th, with all proceeds going to the 9/11 Memorial Fund. Stay tuned for more information on what it bound to be a sure fire hit.
