Upcoming: adidas Tubular

The adidas design team really have had a successful 2014, with releases such as the ZX Flux. But they don't seem to be slowing down any time soon. This week they have announced another new silhouette called Tubular. 

This one, is some-what of a mix between style and practicality. They wanted to design something that would shine through as bright and new, being able to push the boundaries of sneaker culture without tarnishing that three stripe legacy. 
They've gone for a striking upper, with very few panels, but out-there design features such as the high lacing system or tall tongue. But that really isn't the big selling point of the Tubular, the most special feature is seen with the EVA sole unit. This is actually a ring of EVA which gives an even more luxurious comfort than a plain EVA sole unit. 
adidas have given us a glimpse of what is to come with these first four colour-ways, featuring blue, red, black and olive editions of the fantastic new kick. You're going to have wait a while to get your hands on them though. Releasing on November 21st at select adidas Originals locations.
