Collaborations have been coming thick and fast. And when they're done this well, on such a classic EQT model, you cant help but to stare. Absolute show stoppers from the Bait team out in USA with the colour scheme paying homage to the Statue of Liberty, and without any thought, representing the chilling temperatures out in the concrete jungle this time of year.
Bait has successfully applied a very well known theme, to a very well known model. Sometimes this can go either way really, with some collaborations being forced, thus making them look pretty bad, but the chances are they'll still sell out. At Mens Needs, we are massive appreciators of when a theme is done correctly, (most recently for example, executed to perfection the ''SurrEDaliste'' Asics Gel Lyte V, from the Catalonia boutique LimitEDitions) .Bait applied a beautiful perforated suede to the toe box and side paneling in a vivid Viridian Green, with Frost Mint to wrap the toes and heels, accompanied with pops of Red on the heel tabs and lace locks with a nod to Baits motto 'Superior Quality Goods' which sit below a premium Black leather tongue. All sat upon a White mid sole with Black and Red Speckling a side 3 Black stripes.
This wonderful collaboration will be available to purchase as of the 31st of January via Bait raffle for $160, overall after postage and customs fees, these will end up costing the average UK buyer around £130. (Link to registration - Bait X Adidas EQT Support)
