Release Info: Packer Shoes x Asics Gel Lyte III - Dirty Buck

In recent times, Asics have been domination on the collaboration front, of course, why wouldn't they be? With the collaboration king Ronnie Fieg taking the leads, bringing unknown silhouettes, to most, into the spot light.


But with 2015 being the 25th anniversary of the much loved Gel Lyte III, Asics have given 25 stores, or persons, the chance to create something special. With the first pair being the hyped up hugely, Packer Shoes take hold of February to bring us a wonderful take on the iconic gel model.

Draped in a soft Grey suede upper, and Asics branding, with the usual 3m hits on the out-step. Teamed up with White and Tan leather throughout the split tongue, tongue (which looks to say PACKER and not Asics, which is also on the heel) and heel tabs. 

All this is sat upon a Salmon Pink midsole and sole, which sets the shoe off, and takes it away from the all grey look.

Overall I think this release, as we will probably see with most Gel Lyte IIIs this year, has been put together very well, and doesn't look forced. Set to release 28th Feb, we are more than sure most runner fans will be waiting on these, and will capitalise on the hype of the Yeezy release!

The Packer Gel Lyte III will be available from the usual spots such as Hanon and END in the UK priced around £115.
