Yeah, that's correct. I am genuinely bigging up Mr. Fieg. The man knows how to grind my gears, but on this collaboration, he is doing Fracap correctly. How Fracaps are meant to be done, and with his 'creative' twist on them, which, of recent times, he has been lacking.
Now, many of you may not be familiar with Fracap, as I was say 12 months ago. But the brand has been around for a minute, since 1848 in fact. Set up by two brothers, following on the family business of shoe making, and even going on to make shoes for the Army.
Fast forward to 2015, the brand is going strong, with the founders sons at the helm of the company, and still making shoes out of Italy, with the best leathers you can buy. And taking all that into mind, the brand has partnered with shoe celebrity Ronnie Fieg to bring you the M120 re branded as the RF120 due to Ronnie making subtle changes to the silhouette, just because that's his new thing isn't it?
Sitting on top of Vibram flex sole for added comfort and versatility, and the addition of a guarldo welt to prevent the boots inners from feeling the harsh conditions. Constructed in Italian leather with a shearling lining, this boot just oozes luxury. Finishing off with a 'gusseted tongue' for extra proofing, metal D ring eyelets, marled laces and RF branding on the tongue, these boots are the must have for the harsh winter months.
Set to release in two colour-ways, part of the Kith Ops collection, at Kith this Saturday, 14th November, retailing at $275 or around £180
