Nike have kept the Sock Dart tucked away for a fair bit, but this morning my Instagram feed was filled with the wonderful runner; what an absolute treat.
When the Nike Sock Dart was first introduced back in 2004 it was way-way ahead of its time with computerised knitting and streamline design very similar to what we have got in today's Flyknits.
Hiroshi Fujiwara has confirmed 3 collaborations between Nike and Fragment Design consisting the Sock Dart, Air Jordan 1 and Nike Roshe LD-1000 SP.But it's the Sock Dart that has seemed to run away with the hype.
This rendition of the tight fitting runner is made up of a crisp white midsole with an olive swoosh at the midpoint. We have an olive toe guard working with the translucent cage strap to hug the foot whilst in the olive knitted upper. The shoe is topped off with a white plastic heel guard and a dark olive marble like Nike Jewel.
Overall, I am more than happy to see the Sock Dart, and more importantly in a beautiful make up. This fantastic make up will be available from End Clothing. and Nike Lab locations on November the 20th and will be priced at £115.
