Sneakers, trainers, kicks, whatever your calling them, you will be more than familiar with Collaborations. Aren't we all?! Wether you're tired of the whole thing, or your maxing out the overdraft to pick up collab after collab, these are looking pretty good.
With the obvious links to the Fieg Coves aside... Epitome, straight out of Atlanta state side, come out of nowhere for some sneaker fans, and on the Collaboration front, you would be 100% correct as this, similar to Laced Brisbanes LCS Zeniths, is their first collaborative project on the big scale, and first looks make this seem a very good choice on both Saucony and Epitomes front.
With the very comfortable Shadow 5000 as the base, in an overall Teal shoe, there seems to be more than meets the eye, with Fish scales occupying the toe box, toe wrap, heel wrap underlay and collar. Paired with a Teal suede making up the midsection of the shoe, tongue and heel wrap, your really do get more tones of Teal then expected.
Apart from the materials and colours, Epitome have treated us to gives us almost like a 3m fish eye in the Saucony branding, which links the shoe to the huge 65ft landmark directly across from the store, and brought in key colours from the monument in the Gold heel counter and eye stays, all sat upon a White midsole with Gold speckling and a translucent Teal sole.
This shoe will be available directly from Epitome for $165 on the 23rd of May, the shoe will then get a worldwide release a week or so later
